- Asturias is leading the “C4D-Cuido mi diabetes” initiative, which will be developed in two phases and will involve a hundred patients between the ages of 20 and 80.
- The project focuses on four pillars: nutrition, physical activity, rest and relaxation.
The project is aimed at people aged between 20 and 80 years, diagnosed with type 2 diabetes no more than ten years ago. Specific requirements include the following: a body mass index (BMI) of less than 40, more than 3-6 months of anti-diabetic drug treatment, no severe comorbidities, handling of glucose meters, basic digital skills and motivation for change and a commitment to collaborate in the programme for one year.
