That’s great news! The second round of trainings are ongoing in the region of Andalucia, Spain.
Care4Diabetes project aims to reduce the burden of type 2 diabetes through effective lifestyle treatment and training programs. It’s wonderful to see the Andalusian health centers actively participating in this initiative. The involvement of health centers in Olivares (Sevilla) and Churriana de la Vega (Granada), along with the one in Seville, shows a strong commitment to improving diabetes care in the region.
The Andalusian participation in the project, which is coordinated by the Andalusian Health Service (from the Comprehensive Diabetes Plan) together with the Progreso y Salud Foundation, has the support of the Ministry of Health and Consumption of the Government of Andalusia.
20 people with type 2 diabetes from the Churriana de la Vega, along with professionals from the Unit, have joined this initiative that aims to improve the quality of life of people with diabetes through changes in their lifestyle habits related to diet, physical activity, sleep, and stress management.
