Objective: implementation of the best practice “Reverse Diabetes2 Now” in the countries that are part of the consortium and its regions. This good practice has been identified by the European Commission as a priority for its proven scientific evidence in reducing the symptoms of the disease in patients with Type 2 Diabetes. The good practice is based on a Dutch programme aimed at improving the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes and providing training to improve lifestyle and quality of life through the acquisition of healthy lifestyle habits. The Reverse Diabetes 2 Now programme is proven to improve the quality of life of people with Type 2 Diabetes, lower their blood glucose levels and reduce medication consumption.
