The second meeting with the participants was very successful, marked by lively discussions and an interactive atmosphere. On February 18, the Greek team organized the 2nd session of Round B participants, adjusting the schedule to fit everyone’s availability.
This session was highly interactive, with participants actively engaging, asking questions, and exchanging ideas with the multidisciplinary C4D team. The focus was on practical ways to make healthier choices in everyday life—especially when it comes to nutrition—while navigating the challenges of today’s fast-paced and demanding lifestyle. The enthusiasm was evident, as participants showed a real interest in learning about better food options, alternatives, and smart shopping strategies.
Leading the session was Prof. Theodora Psaltopoulou (Internist and Professor of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, NKUA), alongside Prof. Stavroula (Lina) Pashou, Assistant Professor of Endocrinology at NKUA, who introduced the key topics. They were joined by Ms. Foteini Tolika from the 1st YPE team, as well as a dedicated group of healthcare professionals from Alexandra Hospital, including Ms. Vasiliki Markasioti (Dietitian), Ms. Paraskevi Kazakou (Endocrinologist), and Ms. Panagiota Zacharaki (Biologist).
One of the highlights of the session was the engaging discussion on how to make better food choices at the supermarket. The dietitian played an especially active role, leading conversations and offering practical tips, ensuring that everyone’s questions were answered. The session was not only informative but also a great opportunity for participants to interact, exchange ideas, and feel supported in their journey toward healthier living.
